Stan Nguyen Oklobdzija, PhD.
Hi! I’m currently a Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Tulane University. I’m also the Director of The Murphy Institute’s Center for Public Policy Research.
My current research focuses on state and local politics with special attention to housing policy. Previously, my research involved used computational social science tools to answer questions about campaign finance and election law in the United States. My work is either published or forthcoming in The American Political Science Review, Electoral Studies, Research & Politics, Socius and State Politics & Policy Quarterly. I hold a PhD in Political Science from UC San Diego, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California’s Price School and a BA in Sociology from UC Davis.
